The Libertarian Alternative to Obama and Bush I heard it on CNN last night to it must be true. A respected newscaster stated: “Most young people today are fiscally conservative but socially liberal or, in other words, Libertarian”
Anybody who listened carefully to President Obama's State of the Union Address must have realized that the President is a hopeless case. He does not seem to have learned. For example, he congratulated himself for embarking on new projects without raising taxes, leaving out the bottom line that he has greatly increased the deficit. He keeps talking about new jobs programs that will do nothing but drive us deeper into insolvency. In short, President Obama has learned nothing from the defeat last week of the Democrats in Massachusetts. He is going to keep going, in spite of calls telling him to stop. The problem the American people today face is: What is the alternative? Nobody wants to go back to Bush or a Bush type. Bush was not entirely bad. He had a few good things and a few bad things. But, in the end, the bad things far outweighed the good things and Bush will be remembered forever as a bad president. The Republican Party itself is now discredited because they followed lock-step behind Bush even when Bush was completely wrong. How can the people of America get rid of Obama without going back to Bush? The answer is the Libertarian Party. For example, the John Stossel Show on CNN Business News invited three groups to attend the State of the Union Speech by President Obama and comment on it. The Stossel Show invited equal numbers of Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians. This may be the first time that the Libertarians were given equal billing with the Republicans and the Democrats.
