Harland, I had the same two issues as Sasan as I was reading your post, and I 
agree with him.  But not being an anarchist, I propose that government could 
step in AFTER the criminal act in your "drive into a crowd" scenario and force 
prison and/or indentured servitude on the person found guilty through due 
process.  We don't need to force people to buy insurance nor make property 
owners liable as long as the guilty individuals are held accountable.

I oppose it because no one should be forced to buy a product that they don't 
want. It is an unjust, criminal act. It's true that some victims might not be 
compensated properly, but the POSSIBILITY of injustice for SOME is no excuse to 
GUARANTEE injustice for ALL.

I see no reason why a property owner should be liable for an injury simply 
because it occurred on their property.
