I agree of course. However, I feel that we should adopt a "big tent" philosophy to this and similar issues. We should just say "Legalize Marijuana". This brings us the votes of the people who want to smoke freely, the people who want to tax it and raise money with it and the medical marijuana people. If we just confine ourselves to one corner of the market we will not get enough votes. The same point applies to Legalized Prostitution. Kristin Davis, the "Manhattan Madam", wants to regulate prostitution. She lost my vote right there.
