Excellent point.  

I once wrote to my state senator and representative, Stephen Wise and Jennifer 
Carroll, both Republicans, suggesting that all graduates from high schools in 
this state be required to pass a comprehensive test on The Declaration of 
Independence, The United States Constitution and The Constitution of The State 
of Florida.  I never received a response.

I wonder if Attorneys are required to take an oath to uphold the constitution 
like all other public officials. Since they are by definition officers of  the 
courts one would think they have to do so. How can they uphold the Constitution 
 if they have no idea of what it says and less of an idea of what it means. 

We have recently found out that many of our elected officials do not want to 
know what it says or means.
