Hideous, indeed!  The proper color scheme is black text, saturated
blue links, and *grey* backgrounds.  Anything else, like this white
background of yours, is just flowers-and-ponies nonsense that spoiled
kids started demanding after AOL got internet access.

Very weird... especially since you're now overlapping configurations
that work for others.  What breaks it again after the reload - closing
and reopening the browser?  Is there any other commonality to the
breakage?  Maybe some caching proxy on the JSC network is getting
gecko.css but screwing up layout.css until it sees repeated requests?
