The most sweeping "restore prof & oprof" modifications are in branch as of r6475; Sadly this was just about as small a commit as I could make self-contained. It's passing my tests, but feel free to fix or revert if I've broken anything. If not, then I'll get the flags set back to right in a subsequent commit. --- Roy
