You use the libmesh_LDFLAGS environment variable to add *all* the libraries
you need,
libmesh_LDFLAGS="-L/home1/apps/intel17/impi17_0/trilinos/12.10.1//lib
-lpytrilinos -lpython ..."
I don't know what the "..." should be. It depends on pytrilinos.
