Loris' solution works, but at the end, upon linking, I get another error message: /home/tim/archives/packages/mpich2-1.0.5p4/lib/libmpich.a(attr_delete.o): In function `MPI_Attr_delete': attr_delete.c:(.text+0x53): undefined reference to `pthread_getspecific' attr_delete.c:(.text+0x89): undefined reference to `pthread_setspecific' attr_delete.c:(.text+0x29f): undefined reference to `pthread_getspecific' attr_delete.c:(.text+0x2d5): undefined reference to `pthread_setspecific' attr_delete.c:(.text+0x341): undefined reference to `pthread_getspecific' attr_delete.c:(.text+0x377): undefined reference to `pthread_setspecific' (and another >500 lines like that). What solution to that do you propose?
