I'll send you some pdfs off-list.  Roy probably has the best
discussion of AMR and hanging nodes in libmesh.

I believe he has a number of copies of volume 1 for sale (since that
book is used actively in a course) but I'm not sure about other
volumes...Roy could probably check in his office and see what's
available, but I don't know what the pricing is going to be.
