Hello, I am trying to compile libmesh on bevo2 cluster.
I first compiled petsc with this configuration: ./configure --with-mpi-dir=/share/apps/intel_11/mvapich/1.2/ I tested a couple of example petsc programs and they worked fine. Now, I am trying to compile libmesh with the same compilers. However, when I tried to configure, C++ compiler seems not working. Here is the output for ./configure --------------------------------------------- ----------- Configuring libMesh ------------- --------------------------------------------- checking build system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking host system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking target system type... x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu checking for mpicxx... mpicxx checking whether the C++ compiler works... no configure: error: in `/bevo2/ysakamoto/src_3/libmesh-0.7.2/libmesh': configure: error: C++ compiler cannot create executables See `config.log' for more details I am not sure why this is failing. Can you help me with this issue?
