This does not make it a sham. It might make it a disappointment
to you depending on your expectations but then again I have
no idea what your expectations are.


What piece of evidence do you have which suggests that there is
a trick here? Just because people choose not to participate in
something does not imply that there is a sham.

In the US, people can choose not to participate as well. Does that
make the US presidential election a sham? I would suggest not.


What Whitehouse statement can you post which guaranteed that
all political factions will be in power in Iraq after the election?

As far as I can guess, no such statement has been made.
