Given that, it seems reasonable that sheriffs in neighboring counties would meet even if they are in different states or different countries. Criminals cross borders and I don't see a problem in neighboring law enforcement officials giving each other a heads up about what may be coming their way." I'd just like to ask anyone reading here, what problems do you see from such exchange of info? Is this sort of cooperation not beneficial? Would it be a problem if they exchanged info with other counties in the same state, or in neighboring states?
