Hi Mark > I have been developing an interface using OpenDBX 1.4.4 Windows binaries. > So far, all works well on my testing on Windows XP and Firebird 2.1 > Do you intend to release 1.5 Windows Binaries?
Maybe, but don't count on it as the 1.5.x series is a development branch for adding new features and is intended for testing but not for use in other projects. There are only a few reasons to use a release of 1.5 like for testing in your own developement branch. Please use 1.4.4 or later (if released) resp. consider 1.6.x when it will be ready. Currently, there seems to be a problem with the Firebird backend in Windows threaded environments but I'm still investigating this. > Many thanks to you for developing this. Just for my interest: For what application are you using the OpenDBX library? Norbert -- OpenPGP public key http://www.linuxnetworks.de/norbert.pubkey.asc
