Look: http://www.linuxnetworks.de/doc/index.php/OpenDBX/Setup/Common_problems Just add: --disable-utils Example: ./configure --disable-utils --with-backends="firebird" However, it is already "fixed" in the trunk...utilities will be disable by default...so in a future you won't need that.
