If OCLC and/or Wikmedia are interested in hosting something at Midwinter,
I'd be happy to talk with you about whether LITA involvement is useful.
(We'd need at least placeholder plans very soon though - it's well past the
time that event metadata is supposed to be in the scheduling system, and
people will be booking their flights soon.)
