Personally, I believe the best way to bring the Jakarta community
together is for committers to work on more than one product. In many
cases, that isn't practical, since, well, we have lives. If we make it
very easy 
for someone to follow a single package here, more committers will be
willing to participate. A focussed "taglibs for packages" would be a
place where interested committers using the same package in different
products could work together toward a common goal. This kind of personal
working relationship between * individual committers * will build more
bonds between products and help create a true Jakarta community.

Again, for myself, I'm already primed to take a closer look at Taglibs,
Velocity, and Avalon, because of my interaction here with Morgan, Geir,
and Peter. People build communities; it's what we do.
