I'm trying to move away from hypotheticals and into specifics.

So let me get REAL specific.  First item on the agenda is what?  I believe
it is a database connection pool.  And I believe that Struts has one of
those.  And I believe that you, Ted, have been known to play in that area.

So, Ted, let me ask you - would you be personally satisfied and feel that
your job is done if the DBCP produced was not accepted by Struts?

I don't care whether you want to call it a repository or a catalog, but am
suggesting that perhaps we could simply start there?

Who knows, maybe after two or three successes, the path will be clearer.
