Well, I guess the cat is out of the bag.

I'm not quite done writing all of the public facing stuff for this
release, but it can be summed up as:

* libreCMC has been based upon Chaos Calmer since its first public
release(v1.2), but v1.3.2 is based upon the "stable" Chaos Calmer that
was released a few weeks ago. The v1.3.x series now has LTS status
and will be supported for 1.5 - 2 years. Bleeding edge development
releases will be based upon upstream Designated Driver.

* v1.3.2 follows upstream as much as possible, minus some targets.
The majority of packages available upstream are now available in
libreCMC [1]. If anyone finds something that is non-free, please file
a ticket so it can be reviewed and removed.

* This release will mark the Free Software Foundation's 30th
anniversary and a change in the way in which development is carried
out. The libreCMC project will provide three releases going forward :
LTS, bleeding edge development (sporadic releases) and a non-linux
kernel based release (Dropstart). More about Dropstart will be released
after v1.3.2 is fully out.

* All new libreCMC firmware images are now singed [2]. We will have
proper instructions soon about how to verify libreCMC firmware images.

Known issues:

* If luci (the web-ui) is installed and you have less than 8 MB of
flash ROM, don't install any additional packages.

* Certain configurations that worked before, may not work on targets
with < 8 MB of flash ROM (we are working on the issue).

* bugs in the xburst target will need to be fixed, so those images
won't appear until that is done.

Things to keep in mind:

We now have 4 images available for each target, factory + sysupgrade
with the addition of:
>
* generic - minimal images that don't contain much. opkg must be used
to install additional packages / functionality.

* luci - Images that include the luci web-ui. Targets with < 8 MB of
flash ROM should not install additional packages.

I hope everyone enjoys this release and everyone gets out and
celebrates the FSF 30th.
