In my opinion the last change should be reverted and the old behaviour which was valid until release 3.2 should be reinstalled. Since at least one of the sample documents has a logical error, which was wrongly analysed and led to a false conclusion. I would like it very much if we could leave this bug open until I have the opportunity to make the results of my analysis completely clear. It's a bit complicated and I will need more time to write it down. (It also needs a description why the old behaviour is important and why here LibreOffice should behave better than Excel does.)
