Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- OS/Version|Linux (All) |All Status|UNCONFIRMED |NEEDINFO CC| |LibreOffice@bielefeldundbus | |s.de Ever Confirmed|0 |1 Summary|[FILESAVE] data loss when |FILESAVE as .csv saves |saving CSV file with |error messages instead of |#NAME?, #REF!, and #VALUE! |invalid formulas |errors | --- Comment #2 from Rainer Bielefeld <[email protected]> 2011-11-13 22:41:25 PST --- Effect is reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.4.4 - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) German UI [OOO340m1 (Build:402)]", but I doubt that it's a bug. CSV means "Comma Separated Values", not "Comma Separated Formulas". Formula information always will be lost, also for correct formulas. If you have a spreadsheet cell containing (a formula) equals followed by 1000 lines Lorem Ipsum text as a cell contents, result.csv will only contain "Err:509" in the cell, not the Lorem Ipsum novel. That's intended. So I need some help to understand where the problem that can be fixed might be. Please - Contribute a step by step instruction containing every key press and every mouse click how to reproduce your problem; not simply "open", for a .csv you also have to contribute filter information (although it might be irrelevant for the problem). - add information -- what exactly is unexpected -- and WHY do you believe it's unexpected (cite Help or Documentation!) –- If you can contribute an OOo Issue that might be useful -- everything else crossing your mind after you read linked texts -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs
