I read in your report that you need something that wil not only replace an abbreviation (for example) by a word, but also add style "Italic". For example "xyz" always will be replaced by "zxy" in italic letters But: The settings concerning auto underline and auto bold in the autoreplace options afaik are without influence to autoreplace. Means If you have a pair "eplace "xyz" by "*zyx*" the result of typed "xyz" will be the string "*zyx*", not a bold "zyx" So please contribute a clear decision what your need is. a) a third option in menu 'Tools -> Autocorrect -> Options' for 'Automatic /Italic/' (additonal to 'Atomatic *bold* and _underline_') b) The possibility to apply style "Italic" to a auto replaced word from the replace list "a" is the same as a. m.
