These messages are new to me. I run LibreOffice from the Terminal frequently
never see these messages. I assume these "CATransactions" have something to do
with animations. Maybe from Skia/Metal?

None of my hacky attempts to fix this are in LibreOffice 24.2.x so can you try
running today's night build in a Terminal with both Skia checkboxes unchecked
with the "export OBJC_DISABLE_INITIALIZE_FORK_SAFETY=YES" trick?

What I am trying to figure out is why the "export
OBJC_DISABLE_INITIALIZE_FORK_SAFETY=YES" trick no longer works. Maybe I am
remembering wrong, but it seemed like that trick work for you for some period
of time and, since then, nothing works.

To me, it feels like we are back at square one and maybe my latest patches are
making things worse rather than better. So I am inclined to revert my latest
patches and see if we can get back to where the "export
OBJC_DISABLE_INITIALIZE_FORK_SAFETY=YES" trick worked again if disabling Skia
has no effect.
