By this, the user is also able to turn off "marching ants" animation by setting the expert setting "AnimationsEnabled" in LO to "false" *and* to switch off "Show animations in Windows" in "Ease of Access" setting in WindowsOS. The behaviour in previous versions including 7.6.7.2 (on a MS Windows PC) was to use only the expert setting "AnimationsEnabled", which default value is “true”.
