Based on the difference in the reported hardware (x86 vs x86_64), allow me to doubt that such report would help. Either the portable paf installer was somehow corrupted, or it was not downloaded from the adequate site, or each test was performed on different hardware (in which case, we cannot assume that the problem is specific to the portable installer).
