--- Comment #84 from Marc <[email protected]> ---
I tried out the 25.2 alpha nightly build from 8/1/24 for Windows x64. The
touchpad two-finger scrolling behavior is the same as with the release build of
LibreOffice, unfortunately. I tested with Skia rendering enabled and disabled,
both have same scrolling behavior. But Skia rendering enabled seems to have a
higher framerate, so scrolling overall is faster. It's easier to see with a
long document open in Writer and line numbers on (Tools > Line Numbering and
check "Show numbering"). I saw the same thing in Calc.

Another test: with a long doc, start at the top. Two-finger scroll slowly from
top of touchpad to bottom. Now quickly scroll from bottom back to top. In
Writer you won't be anywhere near the top of the doc. Try this in a browser (I
used Firefox), you'll hit the top of the page before your fingers slide halfway
back up the touchpad.

As for download speed, turns out the server was just slow that day. Today
download took half an hour, right in line with V Stuart.
