Description:
I have created a template letter that is being used to generate personalised
letters to a youth group that I run. Due to the data that I receive during
registration, I have to generate a number of hidden paragraphs for the
salutation line at the beginning of the letter (we have some single parents,
some married parents, some cohabiting parents with different surnames, some
registered with a parent and then a grandparent as a backup contact, and some
who can't fill a form in correctly). Unfortunately, when stepping through the
records to check what the letter will look like, the hidden paragraphs do not
hide themselves correctly with various flaws appearing. I have had to roll back
to the last version of LibreOffice where I knew it worked as expected, which is
7.5.5.2. Although I suspect later versions may be successful in this.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Generate a document that uses a data source to hide paragraphs (in my
instance variations on a salutation line in a letter)
2. Create the hidden paragraph conditions (in the file that should get
attached, these are placed at the end of the paragraph that needs hiding, but
they have also been placed at the beginning)
3. Step through the records and find in some instances a blank space is left or
the data that should be hidden due to the condition change is still visible
(you can force it to change by doing a refresh all, but as the order of records
aren't in a 'nice' order, i.e. similar family make-ups next to each other, this
isn't ideal when you are checking through for different situations.
Actual Results:
In this instance, multiple salutation lines show or a blank line shows where
there was a salutation line.
Expected Results:
Only one salutation line should show.

As I've had to revert to 7.5.5.2, the information from Help - About LibreOffice
will give you the wrong information, however I was using 24.2.5.
