This is possibly the issue? I cannot see this font in the windows control panel
(control panel -> fonts).

In the control panel-> fonts window I have these listed where I would expect
liberation sans to be:
Leelawadee UI
Lucida Bright

So unless there is some other location i should check, then it is not globally
available. I looked in: C:\Program
Files\Libreoffice\Program\resource\common\fonts, and the only font there is
opens__.ttf (which seems to be OpenSymbol). Using OpenSymbol seems to work
fine.

I'm unsure how LO fills the fonts dropdown, but I did not have any issues prior
to 24.8 - on this machine I originally installed LO via
"Libreoffice_24.2.1_Win_x86-64.msi".
