I get the former with: apt install libreoffice The latter with: snap install libreoffice Also tried a fresh install of 24.8.1.2 (added ppa, used apt). Same problem. Fwiw, the snap install is _very_ sluggish on my machine, so I think I'm going to try to stick with the apt install for as long as I can.
