Bug ID: 163557
Summary: LO Calc cell names valid in 7.3.7.2 macros do not work
in 24.8.2.1 macros
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.2.1 release
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Named cells used for writing values to cells via macros which work in
LibreOffice Calc version 7.3.7.2 (and earlier) do not work in version 24.8.2.1.
No error message or crash occurs, but the data is not written. Examples of
names:
"IFF1", "IFF2", etc.
Reloading the spreadsheet under Calc 7.3.7.2 restored the correct
functionality.
Steps to Reproduce:
oCell = GetCellByName(GunSheet, "IFF1")
oCell.value = ForceFlagship(1)
Actual Results:
Nothing happens.
Expected Results:
Integer value of ForceFlagship(1) set in cell named "IFF1".
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
Additional Info:
Since the spreadsheet and others are large and use many named cells, there may
be other functions that are not working but not yet discovered. I need a
definition of the valid (or invalid) cell names.
Calc should not except cell names that do not function.
