But, naming a range (in LO 7.3 and older) as "AMK1", would be accepted. Since LO 7.4, the max column is XFD. So in newer versions, a name such as "XFD1" would not be accepted. Even if newer versions were to block additional possible names (and I'm not saying I favor such possibility), older versions would still complain, so such range names would only work on some versions (either much older, or much newer versions with such additional names being blocked). Therefore, unfortunately, the most sensible correction IMHO would be to modify all names in that specific spreadsheet file that could be misinterpreted as a cell address/range to something else, such as "IFF_1" (for a possible example).
