Looks like there indeed aren't any newlines on the paragraph, which then confuses me as to why the same input text resulted in two different outputs as far as formatting goes given the same settings. Does this mean the officially supported method of writing Word documents with Writer is first writing/pasting the text, then saving it as a Word file, closing Writer and reopening the .docx to see if there were any indiosyncracies added during the saving process?
