            Bug ID: 163932
Summary: Writer Find and Replace: "Format" function is not
                    sufficiently granular
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.0.0 alpha0+
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
If I do a find/replace in Writer, in which I want to find and replace
formatting, when I select a font characteristic many other parameters are
automatically added in. For instance, if I select the Sans font face, Writer
will also include Regular (as opposed to Italic. But if I'm trying to catch all
Sans, whether Regular or Italic, this is not appropriate.

The same is true in the Replace field. Selecting a font family automatically
includes properties such as "not italic, normal"

These other properties need to be set to null during searches, and to stay
unactivated unless the user specifically sets them during the search.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Search for Regex ".+", with Format set to a particular font face.
2. Writer unbidden includes Regular font property
3. Fonts that are set to Italic is missed by the search

Actual Results:
see above

Expected Results:
the search should hit all of the font family, whether italic or regular.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No
