            Bug ID: 163945
Summary: Regression in UI refresh rate on mac
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.0.0 alpha0+
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
On a mac, in the current nightly build, the LibreOffice UI refreshes with a low
frame rate and cannot keep up with rapid mouse movements, resulting in a laggy
experience. For example, when resizing columns in Calc, or dragging to change
a text selection in Writer, the LibreOffice UI only updates to reflect the
mouse pointer a few times a second, resulting in a very laggy experience.

This is a regression: with 24.8.3.1, the LibreOffice UI is smooth and keeps up
with my mouse however fast I move it. See video that I will attach.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.In Calc, drag a column header boundary backwards and forwards quickly.

Actual Results:
The line showing the provisional new column size updates only a few times a
second, not keeping up with rapid mouse movements.

Expected Results:
The line smoothly follows the mouse during the drag operation.

Reproducible: Always
