This serious problem could only be reproduced, and subsequently acted, if a following kind of document is provided: "The attachment has a normal working editable formula on page X. Now do these actions: A, then B, then C. Save and reload. Check the formula; double-clicking it will open empty." If anyone CCed here has (or will at some point come across) some scenario like this, please do provide such an attachment, and the exact steps that create the problem out of a good document.
