Everyone affected by this issue, please run this check in a terminal: xdg-settings get default-url-scheme-handler mailto For me, the result was: handler is firefox.desktop I could fix this with: xdg-settings set default-url-scheme-handler mailto org.mozilla.Thunderbird.desktop Notice the correct name for the .desktop file! In my case, I checked it from the file list shown in the Arch package: https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x86_64/thunderbird/ When Firefox is in the middle, xdg-email does not make the right kind of call and thus Thunderbird does not get the attachment. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
