--- Comment #4 from Jack Appelmans <[email protected]> --- This bug case was adjudicated as "Resolved - Invalid". That was based on a determination that the user himself created the DDE links / bookmarks the Writer app was jumping to in the Navigator pane when cued by a click in the document text, instead of the appropriate Outline entry. The user has never created, nor used a bookmark. Why the analyst concluded that this was just another "user error" seems unclear; there is no basis in the case file for that determination. In fact, the indications that the new bookmarks appeared after the software version upgrade, but didn't exist in the document prior to conversion, suggests that the app itself manufactured them, not the user. Despite the analyst's baseless assertion, the bug case report is not "invalid", which makes the resolution arbitrary. I've worked in QA, led QA teams, led entire software projects and both government and commercial software development programs and project offices. I'm [disappointed] at the cursory, flawed and casually dismissive approach the analyst took to address this issue. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
