Bug ID: 164673
Summary: Enhancement: Entering a date without using hyphens
results in text, not date/time value
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Calc

Test Script / Results
I attempted to enter a date/time as "30 Dec 2024 12:03pm" and it did not format
as a date/time and convert the text entered into a numeric value. I tried two
scenarios of alternating format (Day-Month-Year time, Month-Day-Year time) and
alternated when I did, did not, or partially hyphenate the first three values.
The attached calc sheet should have the results. There are multiple instances
when calc does not convert a date/time (when entered) into a numeric value, and
also instances when it does not include the time in the resulting cell,
although a time was entered.
I'll hyphenate in the meantime. ;)
Thanks!
