            Bug ID: 164720
Summary: Object Text Edit Using Mouse-highlight in DRAW Crashes
                    LO
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 24.8.4.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: Linux (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Draw
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Attempting to select/edit text using a mouse in a Draw object which DOES NOT
inherit from 'Default Drawing Style' causes immediate crash of LO.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new Draw document, create a Text Box (F2) and enter some text. By
default it will inherit from 'Default Drawing Style'. Mouse-highlighting (click
+ drag left/right) of any text it contains works OK.
2. Apply a different style to this Text Box e.g. Graphic > Shapes > Filled >
'Filled Blue'. Note the Text Box now inherits from 'Filled Blue' style.
3. Attempt to highlight any of its text and LO will immediately crash.

Actual Results:
LO immediately crashed.

Expected Results:
Text should simply have been highlighted to allow normal edit to proceed.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: Yes

Additional Info:
* This issue does not occur with LO 24.8.3.2 or earlier.

* It affects all object styles which do not inherit from 'Default Drawing
Style'.

* Tested in Linux Mint 21.3 using Ubuntu LO-PPA and portable Appimage (fresh
user profile).

* Win 10 with LO 24.8.4.2 (and previous) is OK.

* See attached Draw file to illustrate the issue.
