V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |[email protected] --- Comment #1 from V Stuart Foote <[email protected]> --- Can not confirm. The localized Autocorrect Single quotes and Double quotes replace the keyboard entered quotes U+0027 (APOSTROPHE) or U+0022 (QUOTATION MARK) and both have a default other than those glyphs assigned according to os/DE locale (e.g. U+2018, U+2019--LEFT/RIGHT SINGLE QUOTATION MARK or U+201C, U+201D--LEFT/RIGHT DOUBLE QUOTATION MARK). They apply by default with a clean profile. You can force the "typewriter" quote if you choose, simply by unchecking the 'Replace' checkbox. Likewise you can make a selection you make for any of the four quotation marks a new default by clicking the 'Default' button. That new default substitution will remain until set again, or restoring default user profile. Works like that with: Version: 24.8.4.2 (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: bb3cfa12c7b1bf994ecc5649a80400d06cd71002 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (10.0 build 19045); UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded and Version: 25.8.0.0.alpha0+ (X86_64) / LibreOffice Community Build ID: 35b9371acf5a1295ef7c12bbfa285efb7ea4b485 CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10 X86_64 (build 19045); UI render: Skia/Vulkan; VCL: win Locale: en-US (en_US); UI: en-US Calc: CL threaded -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
