--- Comment #12 from DenisMtz <[email protected]> --- Bonjour Julien, First of all, Thanx for taking the ticket. (et l'on peux le faire en Français, si vous préférez). Answers to all questions in your comment #11 are YES to all : Most of the time (=95%), I get the Writing Error , rather the General I/O error. You can see the exact messages in the 3 " .jpg attachments" What ever are the sources files : — Either a 'Brand New File.odg' [or .odp or .ods] created with very simple object or text, and saved. — Or an existing 'complex file.odg' [or .odp or .ods] modified a bit a saved. I have tried all of them. result are always the same : "The file could not be written" or some times : " Error in writing sub-document settings.xml " The more Fun is : When from a brand new .odp or .ods files , I record those in respective .docx or .xlsx files, then those files are written, recorded nicely. Nevertheless, when the .docx is gracefully opened from a Microsoft Word app, the Microsoft Excel App generate a successful repair process for the 'simple_file.xlsx , with a report such as : <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes"?> <recoveryLog xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/spreadsheetml/2006/main"><logFileName>Repair Result to LocalTEST230.xml</logFileName><summary>Errors were detected in file '/Users/DenisM/Downloads/Vincelles TESTS LOo/LocalTEST23.xlsx'</summary><removedParts summary="Following is a list of removed parts:"><removedPart>Removed Part: /xl/styles.xml part. (Styles)</removedPart></removedParts><repairedRecords summary="Following is a list of repairs:"><repairedRecord>Repaired Records: Cell information from /xl/worksheets/sheet1.xml part</repairedRecord></repairedRecords></recoveryLog> On top of all of this, regarding the Hw plateform , I confirm : MacBook Pro (13 pouces, 2017, 2x ports Thunderbolt 3) with MacOS (Ventura 13-7-2) with 16GB Ram. Yes , I downloaded LO (macOS Intel) from official website https://libreoffice.org US stock version at first, then as a second step after reboot, I upload the French language (Interface utilisateur traduite: français) (En fait, vous m'apprenez que LO existait sur le store de la Pomme). A question for you : In order to proceed to a clean Libreoffice UN-Installation, back to bare metal (profiles and all 'slops' included): I guess there are more to erase that only : — LO in the Application folder AND — /Users/DenisM/Library/Application Support/LibreOffice/4 ... Where are the others (hidden?) folders to track and purge ? So that I could attempt a second real Fresh install, since apparently that was not exactly the case, with my previous attempt. Merci d'avance DenisMtz -- -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
