In most GUI applications (including LibreOffice Writer) that deal with text
selection and editing, you can perform a "double click and drag" gesture to
select text word by word instead of letter by letter.
The first click is short, the other that immediately follows is longer and you
move the mouse before you release the mouse button.
In Impress, this gesture selects only the one first word and doesn't select
words that follow the drag gesture
