--- Comment #8 from Jeroným klimeš <[email protected]> ---
Dear Mr. Kaganski,

I had the help page opened and I read it, but was not clear from help to me,
that "a lot of N/A means you are having switched off regex".

I guess it would be best to separate normal searching from regex searching, not
to mix everything together.

May be I am a bit stupid, but regex are still sort of mystery to me. I never
know what curious result "sed" will have or how I should modify regex for
Krusader, javascript, Libreoffice, Python, PHP, Bash, SQl, never know what
problems a done by Unicode characters, how to escape them, or what notation to
use.

When I see N/A I never know where is the problem - in seaching formula, in some
options...

The MATCH function is not informing the user what kind of serching it is uses?
So it might or might not be regex... It would drive one crazy...

Say make MATCH like this:
MATCH(Search; LookupArray [; TypeSorted]; TypeSearching)

TypeSearching 0/nothing common
TypeSearching 1 Regex

Well I know it is a lot of work to write Libreoffice, but if you want that
people will use it, so Help or Error codes must be more clearer.

But anyway your advise - switch Regex on was sufficient for me.
So thank you. :-)

Sincerely
jk
