OMG QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb is such a saver. Scrolling is back to perfectly smooth
no matter my screen configurations. In my case editing adding the ENV variable
through editing the various LO lunchers via KDE Kickoff menu edit worked
brilliantly. The only drawback is that when opening a document it now creates
an additional icon in the Icon-Only tasks manager on top of the pinned
application icon.
