I ask because I can reproduce the bug in my local master build by pressing and holding the Command-, keys. This opens tens of Options dialogs stacked on top of each other and the topmost dialog is completely black. I was able to connect the Instruments application and run a Time Profile while LibreOffice was in this state and most of the time spent in LibreOffice was in the CA::Transaction functions like in your samples. I'll post a snapshot of Instruments in a few minutes but I suspect that these timeconsuming CA::Transaction functions are the macOS functions that Skia uses to flush drawing to the screen.
