The "Breeze (dark)" icon theme was automatically selected for the UI on first
start (thanks to the work on Bug 156894), but as you can see on the attached
screenshot, icons on the Open dialog (the same happens with Save / Export
dialogs) do not use the dark theme as the rest of the UI, making it difficult
to operate with them.
