This appears to be a variable font (judging by the fact that the 24.2 PDF embeds a Type 3 font, which is what we do for variable font), and it seems that the default instance (probably Light) is now used instead of Regular. LibreOffice 7.3 didn’t support variable fonts, so it can’t be using a variable font in that PDF. I this OP updated also the font to a variable font, either knowingly or as part of system update.
