Bug ID: 166451
Summary: New feature to add to Writer's ruler bar
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 24.8.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Windows (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: enhancement
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
When I select a whole paragraph and want to add a tab stop for each ligne
contained in this paragraph, I click on the ruler on the measure point where I
want to add it, once, twice, but nothing is added, because only the first line
contains already the tabstop I want to mimic to all others lines. It would be
pratical if the inverse step was possible, that is selecting a whole paragraph
and having all the tabstops for each line cumulated on the ruler, being
possible then to drop one away from the ruler and automatically in each line
individually where it was set.
Steps to Reproduce:
1.Select a line of text
2.Apply a tab stop on the ruler bar
3.Select two or more lines of text, including the first on
Actual Results:
The first tab stop defined earlier disappear and when we click on the ruler to
insert a tab stop common to all lines selected nothing happens.
Expected Results:
Define a common tab stop for all lines selected, anytime, no matter how much
lines are selected. Being able to remove one in each line it has been set by
just selecting a whole paragraph and draging them off the ruler bar.
Reproducible: Always
