Several updates ago (month or so ago) the formatting marks button (icon) is
visible, and changes color when I click on it. But whether the formatting
marks button (icon) is ON (dark) or OFF (light) ... the 'Paragraph' and 'New
Line' marks DO NOT APPEAR in the document.

The problem occurs on one of my two computers, but not the other; both are
running Windows 10 (up to date).
I have tried uninstall / install several times on several update versions.
