            Bug ID: 166956
Summary: FORMULAEDITOR, EDITING, FORMATTING, Cannot edit in
math formula frame results in prime symbol being
                    misplaced
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.2.4.3 release
          Hardware: IA64 (Itanium)
                OS: Windows (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Formula Editor
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
Since 25.2, the Math formula box/frame in writer does not accept editing
anymore. Only option is editing in the formula editor using markup language.
However, when entering a prime symbol (for a derivative), the prime symbol is
moved too far away to the right.

In 24.2, it was possible to edit in the formula frame and the prime symbol was
correctly positioned. Although any attempt to fix some issues using the formula
editor, such as adding a "nitalic" before greek symbols, would immediately
misplace any prime symbols in the formula simply by double-clicking on the
formula frame.

It would be nice to be able to edit the formulas in the formula frame as was
the case in v24.2

And it would be cool if the prime symbol placement was stable once entered
through the formula frame even if edited afterward in the formula editor.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. in a writer document Press Shift-Alt-E to add a new formula frame.
2. Click inside the formula frame --> It does not accept any editing
3. Click in the markup language formula editor and enter an "x" and a "'"
(single quote).
4. See the resulting prime symbol in the formula frame being too far away from
the "X".

Now load Writer 24.2 and repeat the same thing in v24.2
1. in a writer document Press Shift-Alt-E to add a new formula frame.
2. Click inside the formula frame --> This time, it does accept any editing
3. So enter an "x" and a "'" (single quote) in the formula frame.
4. Observe that the resulting prime symbol in the formula frame is correctly
positioned.
5. Click outside the formula frame.
6. Double-click the formula frame --> Observe that the prime symbol immediately
moved away from the "x"

Actual Results:
The prime is too far away to the right from the x. It looks like
x '

Expected Results:
The prime symbol should be right next to the x and look more like
x'

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
No matter how the formula is entered, either through the formula frame or the
markup formula editor, the prime symbol should stay right next to the previous
symbol and stay at that position whatever further edits to the formula.
