IMO this was a significant loss. For whatever reason, the tabbing does not work in my system in the modern app, and presumably not for others. Obviously, however, it is close to the Windows app and so exactly the right thing for many users. And for using it with the mouse it works fine. But for those of us with RSI (not to mention a bit of a problem with attention deficit or whatever!) it is a royal pain. My suggestion was made in the light of the assumption that he old code is still in the archives. So a simple switch in the settings or in the menus would mean the oldies could spellcheck in peace!
